“We are the ancestors of the future and what we do now will have an impact.” - Yeye Luisah Teish
The practices and traditions of movement work of the past are revered by those that study it present, but have we connected these threads to recreate a future that holds space for all of us? In this geopolitical climate, is there a path that integrates the everyday rituals of resistance and the spiritual? If there isn’t a way, who will lay out that path for the next seven generations to follow? How can we walk with integrity in the face of an uncertain future? In this discussion, collaborators will explore the intersections of healing and social justice with the intention of pooling resources and sharing sacred space.
